I began working with Emily in February 2024 after she had sat her mocks in December 2023. The goal was to support her with her GCSE Core Maths. Emily was predicted not to pass her GCSE’s. Emily was a termly boarder at a boarding school so her lessons were slotted into her homework prep time in the evenings.

Emily had two online lessons once a week over the course of 4 months, increasing this to 4 hours weekly during exam season. I created multiple study packs, and often also provided support for other subjects such as biology when required, to help keep her on track. In June 2024 Emily achieved a B in Biology and has now gone on to use her maths in an apprenticeship with the British horse society.
