How BEST helped:

I began working with Anna in January 2024 after she had sat her mocks in December 2023. The goal was to support her with her Higher Maths and Higher Chemistry. Anna was predicted to just pass but needed significantly higher grades to go to the university of her choice.

Anna had in person lessons once a week, lasting 2 hours, spending one hour on each subject over the course of 4 months, increasing this to 2 sessions weekly during exam season. I created multiple study packs, and a revision timetable to help keep her on track. In June 2024, Anna achieved an A in both her Higher Chemistry and Higher Maths and was able to apply to the course of her choice in Law.

Primary Maths & Literacy

I began working with James during August 2023, these lessons were once a week to support his learning around numeracy and literacy. Lessons are hour long and broken into 4 activities each, a numeracy activity, a reading activity, a spelling activity and a grammar/writing activity.
