How BEST helped:

I began working with Anna in January 2024 after she had sat her mocks in December 2023. The goal was to support her with her Higher Maths and Higher Chemistry. Anna was predicted to just pass but needed significantly higher grades to go to the university of her choice.

Anna had in person lessons once a week, lasting 2 hours, spending one hour on each subject over the course of 4 months, increasing this to 2 sessions weekly during exam season. I created multiple study packs, and a revision timetable to help keep her on track. In June 2024, Anna achieved an A in both her Higher Chemistry and Higher Maths and was able to apply to the course of her choice in Law.

I began working with Conor in August 2024, Conor is an international student who lives in Greece. Lessons are planned around the time difference. Conor is sitting his IGCSE’s this year and I support him with both his IGCSE Maths and IGCSE Biology.

I began working with Angus in November 2024 after he had sat his mocks in December 2023. The goal was to support him with his Higher Maths. Angus was achieving less than he wanted in regular end of topic tests which quickly changed over the course of our time working together.

I began working with Sarah in August 2024, Sarah is repeating her Nat 5 maths as an S6 student in order to apply for the college of her choice.
